About Me
I had lived in a small house in the suburbs of Sydney all my life. I love my home and I love its location. However, when I got married and had a couple of kids, it soon became clear that the house was no longer fit for purpose. My wife wanted to move out, but I loved this place so much I convinced her to say yes to building an extension. My friend recommended a local contracting company who supplied builders, plumbers and electricians. The work was completed on time and under budget, so I am a very happy chap. I decided to start this blog to offer advice to others who are thinking about extending their homes.
